Well I was going to do a blog about what a fabulous Mothers Day I had - but guess what all the photos have come off the camera onto our free serve external diskdrive. Still I had a great weekend, we took Rob's Mum to Anglesey Abbey on Sunday, the weather was fabulous, chilly, but sunny and the snowdrops well were out of this world. Tomorrow, I shall post some photos of snowdrops because that is what I had intended to do today, but Rob beat me to the camera last night whilst I was at Aston Quilters. Rob has this wonderful programme for photos and he does love to play with the new pictures and put on our digital frame which is nice as we see them daily in the living room.
Then in the evening Caroline had organised her two brothers into meeting us for a meal so I saw all three children and with Rob and his Mum , plus Zoey & Andy (Mark's fiancee and Carolines boyfriend) we had a lovely evening.

This quilt had been made for a friend of a friend for a very special baby who arrived on Sunday, phew I finished the quilt earlier in the week and it was taken down to Bristol at the weekend just in time for the arrival of the young man himself.

The quilt looks lovely wish I had been able to see it in real life.

  2. What a lovely baby quilt :o) I like the block arrangement, I might have to nick that idea for one I'm going to make for a new arrival in June!

What a lovely Mother's Day out and a lovely evening too with all the family :o) You're right about the brighter days, they do make you feel better. I had a lovely day Saturday and last week in Nottingham was fun too. I'm still recovering! lol
