Look at these miniatures aren't they lovely.
Then I was lucky enough to get to Chilford and it was a lovely display there. I like Chilford it is so easy to get to from Peterborough. I was forced to spend a little bit of money and treat myself - rude not to have done so.
I had to take this photo for Angela as she adores poppies - it was called Flanders Field and is beautiful.
I loved this quilt - this was just a small section - all the beads - the time and effort that went into it.
So now I have to do some sewing finish some of the quilts that I have not completed yet - I have made one Christmas Present, but I have just started my Christmas Cards and they will keep me out of mischief for a while I think.
I loved Chilford too - and found myself drawn to that beaded beauty you photographed. Well done getting it all done for Region 9 - I can't imagine where you find the time!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous quilts Pam, thanks for showing them :-) I enjoyed Chilford too. Frieda Oxenham's quilts were amazing, so much work with all the little stitches and beads.
